How to get to Governors Island:
Getting to Governors Island is just a quick, 4-minute boat ride away. Ferry boats will leave every 5 minutes from the Battery Maritime Building Slip 5 on the Southern Tip of Manhattan, located next to the Staten Island Ferry Terminal.

To get to the Battery Maritime Building:
11 South Street
New York, NY 10005

By subway:
1 to South Ferry Station
4, 5 to Bowling Green
R, W to Whitehall St. Station

By car:
Taxis and car may pull directly in front of the terminal for drop offs only. There is NO PARKING at the Governors Island ferry building. Garage parking is available for a fee across the street from the Battery Maritime Building.
